COTTER PINS IN THE UPPER AND LOWER BALL JOINTS MAY HAVE BEEN IMPROPERLY CRIMPED ALLOWING THE COTTER PIN TO COME OUT OF THE STUD. Remedy: REPLACE IMPROPERLY CRIMPED OR MISSING BALL JOINT STUD NUT COTTER PINS; ALSO, REPLACE STEERING KNUCKLE ASSEMBLIES, AS NECESSARY.
