THESE VEHICLES CAN EXPERIENCE AN ACCUMULATION OF HYDROGEN IN THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT WHICH, IF AN IGNITION SOURCE WERE PRESENT, CAN IGNITE. Remedy: GM HAS MODIFIED THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT VENT AND HAS ALSO INSPECTED THE BATTERY PACKS ON ALL VEHICLES FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF GAS LEAKAGE FROM THE BATTERIES.
