The vehicle has defective parts (Cylinder Block). The oil consumption rate of vehicles incorporating defective parts may deteriorate quickly. Continued riding without noticing that the amount of oil has decreased could result in reduced oil pressure that may lead to connecting rod bearing seizure, connecting rod breakage, or rear wheel lock. This increase the risk of an accident. Production dates not stated in the alert. Types: e4*168/2013*00178*00/CBR600R; e4*168/2013*00178*01/CBR600R.

The motorcycle has defective parts. Consequently, the oil consumption rate can deteriorate rapidly. Continuing to drive without noticing that the oil level has dropped could result in a reduction in oil pressure, which could lead to seizure of the connecting rod bearing, breakage of the connecting rod, or locking of the rear wheel. These defects could cause an accident. Furthermore, oil spilling onto a hot silencer could cause a vehicle fire. Production dates not stated in the alert. Types: CBR600R; e4*168/2013*00178*00; e4*168/2013*00178*01.
At high altitude, if the throttle remains closed, the system fails to update atmospheric pressure, causing incorrect fuel adjustment and false misfire detection. This triggers a fail-safe action that shuts down one cylinder, reducing engine output, which can cause the engine to stall and potentially result in an accident. Production dates not stated in the alert. Types: CMX1100A2P/CMX1100A2R/CMX1100AM/CMX1100AN/CMX1100A P/CMX1100AR/CMX1100D2P/CMX1100D2R/CMX1100DM/CMX110 0DN/CMX1100DP/CMX1100DR; e6*168/2013*00063*01; e6*168/2013*00063*00.
The horn does not sound and/or the headlight cannot be switched from low beam to high beam. The malfunction of these components can lead to an accident and injuries.
