CERTAIN FIFTH WHEEL TRAVEL TRAILERS FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF PART 567, 'CERTIFICATION.' THE GROSS VEHICLE WEIGHT RATING (GVWR) IS INCORRECT. Remedy: OWNERS WILL BE SENT CORRECT FEDERAL CERTIFICATION AND TRAILER WEIGHT INFORMATION TAGS AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. AN OWNER CAN HAVE THESE TAGS INSTALLED AT THEIR DEALERSHIP IF THEY DO NOT WANT TO INSTALL THE TAGS THEMSELVES. THE RECALL BEGAN ON JANUARY 24, 2007. OWNERS MAY CONTACT FLEETWOOD AT 1-800-445-3307.

On certain fifth wheel trailers, the compliance label and the trailer weight information label indicate an incorrect Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) value of 9,950 lbs instead of 11,400 lbs. Correction: Updated labels and installation instructions will be mailed to owners.
