Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling various 2003-2018 Crossroads, Dutchmen, and Keystone recreational trailers equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. A list of the affected trailer models is available at: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RMISC-17V755-5127.pdf. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. On certain vehicles equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. On certain fifth wheel and travel trailers manufactured prior to Aug 18, 2008, the required weight label was omitted. Correction: Since the information contained in this label can also be found on the vehicle's inside and outside weight labels, no further action is required.
On certain fifth wheel and travel trailers equipped with a Dometic Corporation refrigerator, a fatigue crack can develop in the boiler tube. This could allow the release of pressurized coolant solution into an area where an ignition source is present, which could result in a fire. Correction: Dealers will install a secondary burner housing.
On certain fifth wheel and travel trailers, the Milestar ST225/75D15D M633 tires may exhibit symptoms of a defect such as; exterior sidewall and tread cracking, excessive tread wear, tread separation and blowouts. Tire failure could adversely affect vehicle handling, potentially causing a crash with property damage, personal injury, or death. Correction: Owners will be provided with a letter detailing these concerns, and how to determine if they possess the tires in question. Suspect tires are marked with a DOT number that begins with 5YHH TC1. Once confirmed, the tire should be inspected for defects and, if required, replaced forthwith. For questions regarding warranty consideration, owners should contact Tireco at (800) 937-9433.

Certain fifth wheel and travel trailers were manufactured with 16 inch steel wheels that may leak at the valve stem during inflation or when checking air pressure, due to improper seating of the valve stem. Some models have aluminium wheels with a steel spare and only the spare is affected. Towing a vehicle with under inflated tires can result in tire failure, increasing the risk of property damage and a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the snap-in valve stem with a bolt-in version.
