REV Recreation Group (REV) is recalling certain 2013-2015 Fleetwood Bounder and 2013-2016 Fleetwood Southwind recreational vehicles. The welds attaching the battery tray may be insufficient. As a result, the tray may separate from underneath the chassis. Remedy: REV will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the battery tray, and install fasteners, if necessary, to secure the battery tray, free of charge. The recall began on November 17, 2017. Owners may contact REV customer service at 1-800-509-3417. REV's number for this recall is 170914REV.

On certain vehicles, weld securing the battery tray to the chassis may fail. This could cause the battery tray to separate from the chassis, potentially resulting in an electrical short, battery acid leak, or road debris endangering other road users. This could increase the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the battery tray and and install additional fasteners if necessary.
