Issue: On certain motorhomes, the rear air deflector may not be attached properly. As a result, the deflector could detach and separate from the vehicle. Note: This recall replaces recall 190709REV (Transport Canada recall number 2019-371). Vehicles that were repaired under that recall also require this second repair. Safety Risk: An air deflector that detaches from the motorhome could create a hazard for other road users and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: REV Group will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to install a newly designed bracket for the rear air deflector.
Issue: On certain motorhomes built on a Freightliner chassis, the driver may not be able to dim the lights on the instrument panel to a low level. As a result, light from the instrument panel could cause glare while driving at night. Canadian regulations require that the instrument panel lights can be dimmed to a very low level. Safety Risk: Glare from bright instrument panel lights could reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: REV Recreation Group will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.
This recall was replaced by Transport Canada Recall No. 2023-658. Issue: On certain motorhomes, the rear air deflector may be incorrectly attached with screws instead of rivets. Under certain weather and road conditions, the screws could loosen and cause the air deflector to flex or detach from the vehicle. Safety Risk: An air deflector that detaches from the motorhome could create a road hazard for others. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their motorhome to a dealer to ensure that the rear air deflector is properly attached with rivets.

On certain motorhomes, the step tread of the interior entry steps may have been insufficiently supported during assembly. This could result in the step tread to potentially become unstable, which could cause a person to fall, resulting in injury. Correction: Dealers will install new screws to properly secure the horizontally mounted plywood cleats to the plywood supporting structure of the interior entry steps.
On certain motorhomes equipped with a heavier weight adjustable straight foot pedal, the brake activation signal to the motorhome’s brake lights and to certain towed devices may not deactivate when the motorhome service brakes are released. This may cause the motorhome brake lights to potentially remain illuminated, which would result in the following road users being unaware of the driver's intentions. Additionally, if the brakes of a towed vehicle were to remained engaged, it could result in a loss of vehicle control. Both of these conditions could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Daimler Trucks North America authorized service facilities will replace the torsion spring of the pedal assembly with an improved spring.
