Issue: On certain vehicles, the power steering cooler hose could detach. If this happens, power steering fluid can leak or spray in the engine compartment. This would result in a loss of power steering assist and create the potential for a fire. Safety Risk: A loss of power steering assist could increase the risk of a crash. A power steering fluid leak in the engine compartment could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Bentley will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the Power Assisted Steering (PAS) cooler hose.

The water pump can generate negative pressure and allow coolant fluid to seep through the pump housing and onto the electrical circuit board and connections.
