Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Coachmen Spirit recreational trailers, models SBT2963BH and SBT2342BH. The outdoor cooktop may have been installed without an liquid propane (LP) quick disconnect. Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will disconnect the LP supply line and relocate it with a quick disconnect LP fitting, free of charge. The recall began on June 4, 2018. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-825-8205. Forest River's number for this recall is 220-0691.

Certain motorhomes may have been equipped with an exterior cooktop that does not have a propane hose quick disconnect feature. If the cooktop is placed in the vehicle with the propane hose in the on position, users could be exposed to carbon monoxide, which could lead to asphyxiation or carbon monoxide poisoning. The cooktop may also continue to have an open flame which could lead to a fire, increasing the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a new propane hose equipped with a quick disconnect feature.
