Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2019 Forest River Primetime Impression fifth wheels, model MPF3000RLS-49. The side marker lights are not located in the correct spot, reducing visibility of the vehicle to other drivers. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will remedy the vehicles, free of charge. The recall began November 1, 2018. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-862-1025. Forest River's number for this recall is 49-0891.

On certain travel trailers, the axles may not have enough grease on the inner hub bearings. This could cause the bearings to overheat and fail, potentially resulting in wheel lockup or separation. This may result in a loss of control causing a crash. In addition, a loose wheel assembly could strike another vehicle, stationary object, or bystander, causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect all hub assemblies. If there is insufficient grease and the bearings are in new condition, the bearings will be repacked, and the hubs reinstalled. If the bearings show any signs of wear, the hubs and bearings will be replaced. If the axle beam shows any damage, it will also be replaced.
