Riverside RV (Riverside) is recalling certain 2020 Intrepid recreational trailers. The stove top flame may invert to below the stove top when the furnace engages. Remedy: Riverside will notify owners, and dealers will install a panel to shut off air flow between furnace and stove, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began January 8, 2020. Owners may contact Riverside customer 1-260-499-4511.

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the cargo-carrying capacity compliance label doesn't list the weight of the fresh water, hot water, and waste water tanks. The label is also missing a statement regarding how to calculate the cargo-carrying capacity. This could lead to overloading of the trailer and cause poor handling or a tire failure. Safety Risk: Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and result in a crash. Corrective Actions: Riverside RV will mail a new compliance cargo-carrying capacity label to each owner. If you'd like help to install the label, you can contact a Riverside RV dealer to have it installed free of charge.
