A calibration error in the Engine Electronic Control Unit (ECU) software may prevent the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) from activating when the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system and/or Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) fails, risking undetected faults and resulting in emissions above the regulatory limits. Production: 07.07.2017 - 16.12.2021. Types: MDZ36#, MDZ34#, MDZ32#, MDZ14#, MDZ12#, MDZ82#, MDZ86#, MDZ84#, MDZ56#, MDZ54#, MDZ44#, MDZ46#, MDZ42#, MDZ34#, MDZ44#, MPY82#, MPY84#, MPY46#, MPY42#, MPY44#, MPY12#, MPY14#, MPY16#, MPY36#, MPY34#; MPY32#, MPY56#, MPY54#, MPY52#, MPY12#, MPY14#, MPY16#; e2*2007/46*0538*07 - e2*2007/46*0538*17, e2*2007/46*0686*01 - e2*2007/46*0686*07, e2*2007/46*0685*00 - e2*2007/46*0685*01, e2*2007/46*0537*06 - e2*2007/46*0537*14.
Vehicles may have excessive corrosion on the front suspension arm bolt, due to the design in combination with environmental factors. As a result, the bolt may fail which may affect controllability of the vehicle and increase the risk of an accident. Production: 03.03.2016 - 08.07.2022. Types: e2*2007/46*0537*01 - *18; e2*2007/46*0538*01 - *20.
Due to oil carbonisation and high contact pressure, the 7 mm camshaft chain resistance can be reduced. This may cause the camshaft chain to break, leading to an engine failure. This can cause a loss of vehicle's control and increase the risk of accidents and injuries. Production: 05.09.2018 - 01.02.2023. Types: e2*2007/46*0537*06-*12; e2*2007/46*0537*14-*18; e2*2007/46*0685*00-*01; e2*2007/46*0685*03-*09; e2*2007/46*0685*11-*13; e2*2007/46*0686*00-*10; e2*2007/46*0686*12-*14.
