Airstream, Inc. (Airstream) is recalling certain 2022 Airstream Classic, Flying Cloud, Pottery Barn, 2022-2023 International, and Globetrotter travel trailers. The manual step may collapse due to the fastener screw pulling through the washer. Remedy: Dealers will replace the old washer and install a Loctite thread locker, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 15, 2022. Owners may contact Airstream customer service at 1-877-596-6505 or 1-937-596-6111 ext. 7401 or 7411.
Airstream, Inc. (Airstream) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Bambi, Basecamp, Caravel, Flying Cloud, Globetrotter, International, and Interstate travel trailers. The SmartPlug 30 Amp inlet manufactured with the manganese bronze D-rings may crack or fail when over tightened. Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the SmartPlug 30-amp inlet as needed, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 8, 2023. Owners may contact Airstream customer service at 1-877-596-6505 or 1-937-596-6111 ext. 7401 or 7411.

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the exterior entry steps may not have been assembled correctly. As a result, the step treads could detach from the step support arms. Safety Risk: A step that detaches could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Airstream will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealership to repair the step assembly.
