Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Cougar travel trailers. These vehicles may have been manufactured without an emergency exit window. Remedy: Dealers will inspect, and replace the window if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 29, 2023. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 23-440.

Issue: On certain RV trailers, an emergency exit window may not have been installed. As a result, you may not be able to escape from the trailer in an emergency if the entry door is blocked. Safety Risk: A missing emergency exit could increase the risk of injury in an emergency. Corrective Actions: Keystone will notify the owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealership to inspect, and if necessary, install an emergency exit window.
