Issue: On certain vehicles, the pin(s) for the torque reaction link(s) may not have been manufactured correctly. As a result, the pin(s) could slide out of the rear lower suspension arm(s) and cause them to crack or break. If this happens, there could be a loss of vehicle control and/or damage to other suspension components and rear brakes. Safety Risk: A loss of vehicle control could increase the risk of a crash. Damaged brakes could cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Aston Martin will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the rear torque reaction link bolts. The dealer will also inspect and replace any damaged parts, as necessary.
Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to display properly. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display properly could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Aston Martin will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the head unit software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at an Aston Martin dealership.

For the DBX model, certain vehicles repaired under that recall also require this repair. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. A bolt with a reduced shank diameter could cause the torque pin to slide out of the rear lower suspension arm. This may lead to overload and failure of the lower suspension arm, which can cause damage to other suspension components and the rear brakes, which could cause an accident. Production: 27.02.2020 - 05.11.2025. Types: AM8, AM8SS; e9*2007/46*6804*00-*03, e9*KS18/858*11438*00-*04.
