Bombardier Recreational Products, Inc. (BRP) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Can-Am Origin, Can-Am Pulse, 2025-2027 Can-Am Canyon, 2024-2027 Can-Am Spyder RT, and Can-Am Spyder F3 motorcycles equipped with a touchscreen instrument cluster. The instrument cluster may reset, freeze, or go blank. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 123, "Motorcycle Control and Displays," and FMVSS number 122, "Motorcycle Brake Systems." Remedy: The instrument cluster software will be updated over-the-air (OTA) or by a dealer, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 6, 2026. Owners may contact BRP customer service at 1-888-272-9222. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will become searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning September 22, 2026. BRP's numbers for this recall are 2027-2 and 2026-3.

Issue: Under certain conditions, when using a USB or Bluetooth connection, the instrument cluster could reset, freeze, or go blank. As a result, you may not be able to see certain information about the vehicle, including the speedometer, warning lights and malfunction tell-tales. Additionally, during the cluster reset, the turn signals and hazard lights may not work. Safety Risk: Warnings, tell-tales and gauges that don't display could increase the risk of a crash. Turn signals that don't work may cause a person not to recognize when the rider intends to turn or change lanes. Hazard lamps that don't work could make the vehicle less visible. These issues could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: BRP will notify owners in writing and send a wireless over-the-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the instrument cluster software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a BRP dealership.
