Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2024 Tucson and Santa Cruz vehicles. The circuit board in the motor-driven power steering assembly may short circuit, resulting in a loss of power steering assist. Remedy: Dealers will replace the motor-driven power steering electric power pack, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 11, 2024. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's number for this recall is 261.

Issue: On certain vehicles, the compliance label may be missing information in French. The words listed on the label for "Tires", "Rims", "Front" and "Rear" appear in English only, when they should be listed as "Tires/Pneus", "Rims/Jantes", "Front/Avant" and "Rear/Arriere". Canadian regulations require this information to be listed on the label in both English and French. Safety Risk: These small errors do not affect vehicle safety. Corrective Actions: This is not a recall. The company has corrected the compliance label for all new vehicles.

The front seat belt snap-on anchor may become misaligned or come loose. If an accident occurs, this may increase the risk of injuries. Production: 13.03.2023 - 24.03.2026. Types: e4*2018/858*00188*00.
The wiring harness mounted under the bench seat can be damaged by being pinched by the seat hinge when it is folded down. This can lead the curtain airbag not to work, increasing the risk of injuries in the event of an accident. Production: 14.03.2024 - 04.07.2024. Types: e4*2018/858*00188*00.
