A bolt with a reduced shank diameter could cause the torque pin to slide out of the rear lower suspension arm. This may lead to overload and failure of the lower suspension arm, which can cause damage to other suspension components and the rear brakes, which could cause an accident. Production: 27.02.2020 - 05.11.2025. Types: AM8, AM8SS; e9*2007/46*6804*00-*03, e9*KS18/858*11438*00-*04.
Variable pressure control during the extrusion process can cause irregularities, cracks or kinks in the internal wall of oil cooler hoses. This can create weak points that can rupture due to temperature and pressure fluctuations, causing oil loss. Engine oil cooler hoses can burst, potentially leading to the engine stalling or seizure. This increases the risk of an accident or fire. Production: 30.09.2022 - 09.07.2024. Types: AM5SS; AM7V; AM8SS; e9*KS07/46*6716*07; e9*KS18/858*11438*01; e9*KS18/858*11451*01.
