A touch condition between the diesel fuel tank and the DCIV bulkhead bracket bolt may cause damage to the fuel tank over time and fuel to leak onto hot engine or exhaust components. As a result, the leaking fuel may ignite and result in a fire. Production: 02.02.2024 - 07.08.2026. Types: e5*2018/858*00192*01-*03, *05 (NRN).
The diesel particulate filter (DPF) may be cracked on 2.0 l EcoBlue Diesel and 1.5 l EcoBlue vehicles. This could cause the vehicles to fail the legally required roadworthiness test, as exhaust emissions of soot may be above the authorised limit. Cracks in the fuel line could lead to a fuel leak above the exhaust after-treatment systems. If the leaking fuel comes into contact with hot components, it could ignite and cause a vehicle fire. Production: 16.05.2023 - 12.09.2025. Types: e5*2018/858*00191*00-*01 (NXN); e5*2018/858*00192*00-*01 (NRN).
During installation of the high-security locks, metal shavings from the B-pillar may have damaged the seatbelt. This could reduce the restraining effectiveness of the seatbelt in the event of an accident, increasing the risk of injury. Production: 05.12.2023 - 28.04.2026. Types: NXN, NRN; e5*2018/858*00191*01-*03, e5*2018/858*00192*00-*05.
The fuel line may chafe against surrounding components and develop a leak. Fuel leaking onto hot components in the engine compartment may ignite and cause a fire. Production: 19.11.2021 - 24.9.2024. Types: e13*2018/858*00649*00-*01; JHH, J2K, N1P, N3P; e13*2018/858*00648*00-*01; e9*2007/46*3142*22-*25; e9*2007/46*3165*08-*16.
The handbrake may slip, causing a complete loss of holding power. This could allow the vehicle to roll away unintentionally, increasing the risk of an accident. Production: 01.09.2025 - 24.11.2025. Types: e13*2018/858*00648*04-*05, e13*2018/858*00649*04-*05 (N1P, N3P).
A front suspension bolt may have been overtightened during manufacturing, weakening it over time. If the bolt breaks, steering control and braking performance may be reduced, increasing the risk of an accident. Production: 09.10.2025 - 27.09.2025. Types: FED, FDD, FCD, FAD, FBD; e1*2007/46*1096*24, *26 e1*2007/46*1098*23, *25 e1*2007/46*1100*24-*26, e5*2007/46*1032*14, e5*2007/46*1033*08.
Insufficient distance between the wiring harness and the transmission housing may result in damage to cables. The power-assisted steering may fail. There is a risk of fire due to short circuits and a risk of accidents. Production: 10.05.2024 - 11.10.2025. Types: FED, FCD, FDD, FBD, FFD; e1*2007/46*1096*24-*26, e1*2007/46*1100*24-*26, e1*2007/46*1098*23-*25, e5*2007/46*1033*08-*10, e1*2007/46*1097*21-*23.
The weld seam on the seat frame is defective. In the event of an accident, a defective weld seam may result in insufficient restraining effect of the seatbelt, increasing the risk of injuries. Production: 08.07.2025-08.09.2025. Types: e5*2018/858*00192*03 (NRN).
