Issue: On certain motorcycles, a software problem could cause the transmission gear position indicator in the rider display to falsely indicate the transmission is in neutral. This problem also causes the motorcycles not to meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations. Safety Risk: A transmission gear position indicator that doesn't display the correct information could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Indian Motorcycle will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to update the engine control module software.
