A touch condition between the diesel fuel tank and the DCIV bulkhead bracket bolt may cause damage to the fuel tank over time and fuel to leak onto hot engine or exhaust components. As a result, the leaking fuel may ignite and result in a fire. Production: 02.02.2024 - 07.08.2026. Types: e5*2018/858*00192*01-*03, *05 (NRN).
Excessive gas emission has been identified in the affected 12V batteries. In the absence of a vent tube, hazardous gases such as hydrogen sulphide may enter the driver compartment from under the front seat, posing a risk of injuries. Production: 01.08.2021 - 08.12.2025. Types: FCC, FED, FFD, FDD, FCD, FAD, FBD, FAC; e1*2007/46*1005*22-*24, e1*2007/46*1096*21-*26, e1*2007/46*1097*18-*23, e1*2007/46*1098*20-*25, e1*2007/46*1100*21-*26, e5*2007/46*1032*09-*11,*13,*14, e5*2007/46*1033*05-*10, e5*2007/46*1034*10-*11.
Cracks in the fuel line could lead to a fuel leak above the exhaust after-treatment systems. If the leaking fuel comes into contact with hot components, it could ignite and cause a vehicle fire. Production: 16.05.2023 - 12.09.2025. Types: e5*2018/858*00191*00-*01 (NXN); e5*2018/858*00192*00-*01 (NRN).
During installation of the high-security locks, metal shavings from the B-pillar may have damaged the seatbelt. This could reduce the restraining effectiveness of the seatbelt in the event of an accident, increasing the risk of injury. Production: 05.12.2023 - 28.04.2026. Types: NXN, NRN; e5*2018/858*00191*01-*03, e5*2018/858*00192*00-*05.
The handbrake may slip, causing a complete loss of holding power. This could allow the vehicle to roll away unintentionally, increasing the risk of an accident. Production: 01.09.2025 - 24.11.2025. Types: e13*2018/858*00648*04-*05, e13*2018/858*00649*04-*05 (N1P, N3P).
A front suspension bolt may have been overtightened during manufacturing, weakening it over time. If the bolt breaks, steering control and braking performance may be reduced, increasing the risk of an accident. Production: 09.10.2025 - 27.09.2025. Types: FED, FDD, FCD, FAD, FBD; e1*2007/46*1096*24, *26 e1*2007/46*1098*23, *25 e1*2007/46*1100*24-*26, e5*2007/46*1032*14, e5*2007/46*1033*08.
