The vehicle’s engine may fail to restart after driving in electric vehicle (EV) mode due to a software problem in the inverter control module when the high-voltage (HV) battery charge decreases. This could result in a loss of motive power, increasing the risk of an accident and injuries. Production: 27.10.2021 - 18.07.2025. Types: e5*2007/46*0076*00; e5*2007/46*1058*00.
The side panels of the panoramic roof may become detached from the vehicle and fall onto the road, increasing the risk of accidents and injuries. Production: 14.12.2021 - 10.12.2025. Types: L1, LK; e9*2018/858*11229*01-*06, e9*2018/858*11120*00-*07.
Corrosion of the airbag connector may increase electrical resistance, which could prevent the driver airbag from deploying correctly in the event of an accident. This increases the risk of injury. Production: 17.10.2019 - 05.06.2026.
The driver airbag connectors in the steering column has shown that they may corrode. Over time, the airbag might not deploy as intended and therefore could increase the risk of injuries. Production: 04.04.2019 - 26.06.2026. Types: e5*2007/46*0092*01-99*, e5*2007/46*0125*01-99*, e5*2007/46*1055*01-99*, e9*2018/858*11120*01-99*.
A defective module has been installed in the high-voltage battery, which may cause it to overheat and lead to a fire. Production: 07.07.2020 - 01.05.2025. Types: e5*2007/46*1058*00-*99, e5*2007/46*0076*00-*99. e5*2007/46*1057*00-*99, e5*2007/46*0092*00-*99.
The middle seatbelt buckle in the second row of seats may have been incorrectly produced. An incorrectly positioned inner cable can lock the belt tongue and prevent correct locking. In the event of an accident, an improperly locked seatbelt buckle can increase the risk of injury. Production: 19.12.2024 - 19.02.2025. Types: e9*2018/858*11120*00 (LK); e9*2018/858*11229*00 (L1).
