Issue: On a small number of motorhomes, the propane tank may not have been installed correctly. As a result, no remote shut-off valve was installed, and the tank may not be properly secured. If the tank were to become loose, it could detach. Safety Risk: If there is a propane leak and there is no remote shut-off valve, there could be an increased risk of a fire or explosion. Additionally, a propane tank that detaches from the motorhome could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Tiffin will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to install a remote shut off for the propane tank and replace the bracket.
Issue: On certain motorhomes, the circuit board(s) for the rooftop ventilation fans may not have been manufactured correctly and could overheat. Note: This recall only affects certain motorhomes equipped with MaxxAir rooftop ventilation fans. Safety Risk: A circuit board that overheats could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Tiffin will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to replace the ventilation fan circuit board(s).
